Almara, an innovative company in the chemical sector, is joining the group of investors in the Katowice Special Economic Zone, launching a strategic project that will elevate the company to a completely new level of development. The support decision for the project in Konopiska marks a strong entry into the era of advanced industrial production based on cutting-edge technologies.

New hall and new technology – Almara expands its production capacities

A new production hall with an extended office section and R&D laboratory will be built in Konopiska, significantly increasing the company’s development potential. At the heart of the investment is the installation of an innovative line for producing butyl sealants, based on breakthrough polymer-blend technology developed in cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

The new infrastructure will allow Almara to manufacture products with quality and performance far ahead of current market standards.

Advanced R&D and commercialization of next-generation products

As part of the project, the company will:

  • implement a unique technology of partially cross-linked elastomeric polymers into industrial practice,

  • launch production of modern self-adhesive and sealing materials,

  • equip its laboratory with premium-class devices enabling precise quality control and full process validation.

This opens the door to dynamic commercialization of innovative products for key sectors such as construction, automotive, wind energy and household appliances.

A stronger brand, greater independence and technological advantage

Almara’s investment significantly increases the company’s production and technological capabilities. The firm will strengthen its position on domestic and European markets, gain greater operational independence and secure a clear competitive advantage.

The support decision was received by Attorney Jakub Czakaj and presented by KSSE President Dr. Rafał Żelazny and Vice-President Tomasz Kamiński.
